Mike Del­e­vante
Cre­ative Director

Fol­low­ing a suc­cess­ful music career and exten­sive his­tory design­ing for national brands, Mike Del­e­vante founded Del­e­vante, draw­ing upon his wealth of expe­ri­ence to cre­ate and direct design for local and national clients. Mike has worked with an impres­sive list of well-known busi­nesses and orga­ni­za­tions, serv­ing as Designer at the School of Visual Arts, Asso­ciate Art Direc­tor at National Lam­poon, Art Direc­tor of the Mag­a­zine Divi­sion at ABC, Designer and Art Direc­tor of Adver­tis­ing at J.Crew, and Part­ner and Cre­ative Direc­tor at RD&Q in Nashville. He has also acted as a free­lance consultant/designer to Time Mag­a­zine, Rolling Stone, Sotheby’s New York, and J.Crew.

Mike’s deci­sive and ele­gant web and print design style has been nation­ally rec­og­nized, earn­ing Print, Art Director’s Club, Pub­li­ca­tion Design, and Addy Awards, as well as recog­ni­tion from the School Art League NYC, and Macro­me­dia Flash Site of the Day.

Also an accom­plished musi­cian, Mike has col­lab­o­rated with his brother to record two albums on Rounder and Capi­tol Records as the Del­e­vantes, and has toured the United States and Europe with Emmy­lou Har­ris, Steve Earle, John Prine, and oth­ers. The Del­e­vantes achieved four #1 sin­gles dur­ing their musi­cal career, as well as the #1 Video spot on CMT Europe. Their suc­cess has been fea­tured in Rolling Stone, Enter­tain­ment Weekly, and USA Today.

Suzanne Nahay
Strate­gist & Copywriter

Suzanne has man­aged Delevante’s diverse ros­ter of accounts since 2010, and she pro­vides strate­gic coun­sel and cre­ative con­tent for brand iden­tity engage­ments and com­pre­hen­sive mar­ket­ing and adver­tis­ing programs.

High­lights include a global rebrand and Write On brand cam­paign for Broad­cast Music, Inc. (BMI); a rebrand and posi­tion­ing cam­paign for Bass, Berry & Sims, PLC; cam­paign devel­op­ment for the grand open­ing of Dis­cov­ery Park of Amer­ica; and the national workIT recruit­ment cam­paign for the Nashville Area Cham­ber of Commerce.

Suzanne’s pre­vi­ous employ­ers include two of the Southeast’s most rep­utable pub­lic rela­tions firms, McNeely Pig­ott & Fox and Seigen­thaler Pub­lic Relations.

Her tal­ent for cap­tur­ing and express­ing clients’ voices is bol­stered by years of study in com­po­si­tion and rhetoric, cre­ative writ­ing, and jour­nal­ism. She received a B.A. from the Uni­ver­sity of Ten­nessee, an M.A. from Bel­mont Uni­ver­sity, and pur­sued Ph.D. stud­ies at Geor­gia State University.


Chad Pel­ton
Senior Graphic Designer

Chad joined Del­e­vante in Fall 2013 and brings fresh per­spec­tive and diverse expe­ri­ence to his role as senior graphic designer. Prior to join­ing Del­e­vante, Chad worked for the Uni­ver­sity of Ten­nessee Press, Robin Easter Design, and as a free­lance designer based in Knoxville.

Chad’s photo and col­lage work has been exhib­ited in gal­leries through­out the South­east, and he has been a part of award-winning design projects fea­tured in PRINT Mag­a­zine, the HOW Inter­na­tional Design Annual, the AIGA Tenn Show, and in the Knoxville ADDY Awards.

He is a grad­u­ate of the Uni­ver­sity of Ten­nessee with degrees in both Graphic Design and Wildlife & Fish­eries Science. 


Alyssa But­ler
Graphic Designer

Alyssa is an East Texas native who got hooked on a new kind of South­ern tra­di­tion after one visit to the South­east (and an Auburn foot­ball game). Upon her first visit to Nashville, she dis­cov­ered her niche – and the ideal place to call home.

She joined Del­e­vante as a graphic designer and account assis­tant in August 2013. She devel­ops and man­ages cre­ative assets for a vari­ety of clients, includ­ing Dis­cov­ery Park of Amer­ica and This­tle Farms, and assists in coor­di­nat­ing traf­fic and pro­duc­tion for sev­eral clients. Her skills include photo editing/manipulation, illus­tra­tion, and interactive/experience design.

Alyssa grad­u­ated from Auburn Uni­ver­sity in Fall 2011 with a Bach­e­lors of Fine Art in Graphic Design and three years of train­ing in Auburn’s Col­lege of Archi­tec­ture. Before join­ing Delen­vate, she worked as a designer at ST8MNT in Brent­wood, TN.

She most recently received a Nashville Gold ADDY Award for Pub­li­ca­tion Design for her work on the RED Book by Tay­lor Swift.
