The magazine, founded in 1958, tells the stories of real people, shared spaces, unique places, and everyday experiences that make Tennessee an exceptional place to live.

While its distribution continues to grow and reader feedback has been consistently positive, the team behind the magazine recognized that the design was beginning to feel dated and that consistency throughout each issue and from month to month had become an issue. Overall, the aesthetic didn’t match the first-rate editorial content. It was time for change.

Tennessee leadership called upon Delevante for our deep print editorial expertise—with a resumé that includes Time and Rolling Stone magazines—and found a partner thrilled to guide the magazine into its next iteration.

Our strategic, collaborative process led to positioning and a final design that matched the integrity of the legacy publication and its lofty purpose: To celebrate the extraordinary nature of everyday life across Tennessee.
