Mike Delevante

Creative Director
Following years of designing for national brands in New York City, Mike founded Delevante, drawing upon his wealth of experience to create communications programs for local and national clients. Mike has worked with an impressive list of businesses and organizations, serving as Art Director of Advertising at J. Crew, Art Director at ABC Networks, and Designer at the School of Visual Arts. He has also acted as a freelance consultant/designer to Time Magazine, Rolling Stone, National Lampoon, Sotheby’s New York, and J. Crew.

As founder and creative director of his eponymous agency, Mike has led highly acclaimed, award-winning, and most importantly, results-garnering branding engagements and campaign development for local and international clients alike. His signature style—both in design and relationship—shines through, balancing artistic integrity and beauty with the real-life demands of commercial enterprise and a savvy business sensibility.

Mike’s decisive and elegant web and print design style has been nationally recognized, earning Art Director’s Club, Print, GDUSA, Publication Design, and ADDY Awards, as well as recognition from the School Art League NYC and the School of Visual Arts.

Also an accomplished musician and songwriter, Mike had collaborated with his brother to record three albums on Rounder and Capitol Records as The Delevantes, and has toured the United States and Europe sharing the stage with Bruce Springsteen, Levon Helm, Emmylou Harris, Steve Earle, John Prine, and others. The Delevantes achieved four #1 singles during their musical career, as well as the #1 video spot on CMT Europe. Their success has been featured in Rolling Stone, Entertainment Weekly, and USA Today.

Suzanne Nahay

Strategist & Copywriter
Suzanne has managed Delevante’s diverse roster of accounts since 2010, and she provides strategic counsel and creative content for brand identity engagements and comprehensive marketing and advertising programs.

Highlights of Suzanne’s tenure at Delevante include a global re-brand and “Write On” brand campaign for Broadcast Music, Inc. (BMI); a rebrand and positioning campaigns for Bass, Berry & Sims, PLC; branding and campaign development for sold-out luxury condo developments including Twelve|Twelve and the Residences at Broadwest; the national “workIT” recruitment campaign for the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce; and Imagine Nashville, an unprecedented citywide research effort that yielded insights from more than 10,000 survey respondents in every Davidson County ZIP code and helped set the agenda for addressing residents’ key concerns and priorities.

Suzanne’s previous employers include two of the Southeast’s most reputable public relations firms, McNeely Pigott & Fox and Seigenthaler Public Relations. She also managed the highly successful rebrand, product launch, and nationwide marketing campaign for Thistle Farms, a Nashville-based nonprofit social enterprise, in 2017.  

Her talent for capturing and expressing clients’ voices—and attracting and engaging new audiences—is bolstered by years of study in composition and rhetoric, creative writing, and journalism. She received a B.A. from the University of Tennessee and an M.A. from Belmont University.

Claire Trabue

Graphic Designer
Since joining Delevante in 2021, Claire has been a versatile and invaluable asset to the team. She artfully manages day-to-day operations, vendor relationships, and client correspondence, while contributing incredible skill and passion to her role as graphic designer.

Clients praise Claire’s warmth and kindness, her exceptional communication skills, her ability to set and achieve project goals, and her organizational efficiency in often complex and time-sensitive scenarios. As a designer, Claire is known for her attention to detail, vibrant use of color, and enthusiasm for illustrative work. She has made significant contributions to the team, including the design direction and branding for Greenways for Nashville’s successful Dinner by the Bridge 2024.

Claire graduated magna cum laude from Loyola University Chicago in 2021 with a degree in Visual Communication, along with minors in Studio Art and Art History.

Caitlyn Swartwood

Graphic Designer
Caitlyn is a graphic designer with sophisticated artistry, a strong grasp of developing tools and trends, and a down-to-earth approachability that all combine to create a one-of-a-kind talent – and truly valuable asset to the Delevante team.

Her experience working with clients, both boutique and international, has informed her love of branding and identity work, as well as her understanding of the personality and power of typography, her skills in website design and motion graphics, and thoughtful approach to social media content. Above all, Caitlyn strives to understand clients’ objectives and audiences’ unique needs in order to deliver impactful and distinctive creative solutions.

Caitlyn previously designed for The Bobby and The Westin hotel brands at Castlerock Asset Management, and began her career as a graphic designer at ST8MNT BrandAgency. 

She graduated magna cum laude from Watkins College of Art at Belmont University with a B.F.A. in Design Communications, and emphasis in Design Administration.During her time there, she received Student ADDY and other design awards.
